Fresh Start convert here

I ordered a case of Fresh Start from buyitbythecase.com, and I'm in love with the stuff. My Mom never used it, she is a Tide, Cheer, and Oxydol woman. I love the scent when you open and measure it out, and the light scent it leaves on clothes. I'm hooked man, I'm hooked!

I like it, too polkanut. The scent is nice without being overbearing. I remember years ago Consumer Reports rated it's cleaning ability poor. I wonder if it's the some formula or if they've spiffed it up a bit.

Fresh Start.

I have been looking for Fresh Start and I can't find it. I have searched in Savannah, GA and Manassas, VA (near Washington, DC). What stores sell Fresh Start, and in what regions?

Why are the good products so hard to find?

Well Dave,
I love "Fresh Start" as well. My grandma used it when it first came out, and contined to use it for years.
I was able to find it at 2 stores here in Omaha, but I fear it may be no longer be made, and what I'm seeing on the shelves is remaining stock. Fresh Start was a Colgate product and I think Colgate-Palmolive sold off all that stuff, so am unsure if it will continue being made or reformulated, or just "dropped" alltogether....

Fresh Start

There is one store here (USA Drug) that carries Fresh Start and the back label now says Distributed by Colgate. They also carry the Ajax powders and liquids. Fab powders and liquids. Wisk powder is still there also. They have the largest selection of powder and liquid detergents here in our town of about 18,000.

It is becoming more difficult to find. I used to see it all over Memphis at a store called Ike's and Super D (same as USA Drug). So I emailed my local schnucks supermarket and they emailed me back with a link to instawares or somewhere so I could buy it by the case.

I also told them that their ever increasing amount of liquid detergent was keeping me from purchasing detergent at their store. LOL.

Not much of a loss when you first think about it but hey, $7-10 adds up quick.

Sorry guys but I still love my Mexican detergents with phosphates. My favorite brand is Viva.

I shopped a case, ground shipping is $18.30, 61% of the cost of the product! Seems outrageous until one figures at 44 loads per bottle it's about $0.18 per load. I'm pondering on it...

virginia stores

I have found FS at the Safeway stores in Northern VA. It's been a while though, so they may not carry it any longer, but that's the only place I've seen it. Maybe I'll go to big lots and see if they have it.
