Got this on E-Bay last week.  From what the seller told me, it was from her mother-in-law.  She obtained it in 1958-59.  She used it twice and then she put it in the basement.  She didn't have the counter space to keep it upstairs in the kitchen.

I have always loved that model.  I have a Roto-Broil Custom 400 which produces excellent rotisserie chicken.  I'm sure yours will too, and being a GE it probably has superior build quality.

 

Here's mine.  Another one that got barely used -- until I got a hold of it!

For me, the quality of the materials and workmanship can't be matched.  If you purchase rotisserie now, it lasts maybe 3-4 years.  My last one lasted 4 years until the heating element went.  Can't find parts or because the way its made, can't replace the element.

I have the same GE rotisserie in my rotisserie collection. I have the book for it also. Will scan a copy and send it to you.

Not only is that a good rotisserie, but as a second small over, it can't be beat!

Greeat looking GE you got. I have seen them and I just wish I had room for one. Ron raves about how it works so well. The condition of yours looks great!!

Great find, but you really should have shown the killer broil element in the cover. It makes a nice space heater in the winter and is definitely for outside use in the summer.
