Okay...

Managed to get it off in the end, broke the plastic tube in the middle but all sorted now, there was a bit of crud in the tube but not a great deal, this is the low water level after cleaning it, how does this look?

Hi Matt.

Well done on you guys getting this excellent example of the breed.
I remember when it was on ebay and I was sorely tempted myself, even discussing what I should do with mathew.
But I have always said, despite the fact that I love timeline Logics, that the ideal machine would be a Logic 1200, thus giving me and rob an electron 1100, logic 1200, ecologic 1300 and New Wave 1500.
Was so torn that I sat watching the auction end and thought oh well. So I am really pleased that it has gone to a good home, as its by far one of the best external condition Logics that I have ever seen.

As with all vintage machines, they certainly have their foibles, but I am certain that you will sort them over time.

Matching Dryer

Don't tempt me!

That dryer's a beaut! Although I can't really fault our mid 2000's Indesit made Hotpoint dryer, it's pretty lacklusture and I have been longing for a vintage (preferably Hoover) dryer for some time now!

Have managed to get the indicator belt for the timer back in it's place, although still not much luck with the progress lights.

Thanks for posting that brochure shot Paul, this machine actually came with it's instruction manual and brochure for the matching dryers, using that very same picture with the reversed drums! They certainly fit into that grey 80s kitchen very nicely!
