I think we are done; well I am certainly done, knackered and ready for a big drink of something nice.

Plugged her in and she roared into action, very reasonable amount of air movement though I have some sealing work yet to carry out.

Something Borrowed Something BLUE

That is a really nice shade of blue Lee but yes it might need CHANGING a tad :-)

And top marks for sorting out the bearing support ring its a pity some people would just run items into the ground rather than get is serviced, this must have been grinding for ages

Patience is all with jobs like this, they can drive you to DESTRUCTION and HARRY the HAMMER gets twitchy..........good for you for holding back, it brings back memories of my days in my garage spitting feathers etc.

But as we are here now what a great job you have done and yes they will be a perfect pair.

A very productive weekend for you, this means you can go into work smiling :-)))

As shown by the pictures these are machines built to last and thus a pleasure to look at admire...........pity its the start of summer, never mind a few more months and you can do your first load in there :-)

Well done Lee and thanks for having the time to do the pictures for us.

Fidos Comments

Fido you really cannot help yourself can you! your silly comment on this thread and comments on other threads really show you to be a small uninteresting, not very knowledgeable dullard, like I said to you before unless you have something positive to say on this collectors/restorers website I suggest you keep quiet.

wow!!!

What a fantastic job. I love these old hotpoints.
I wish I had the patience to do a total refurb to the extent that it practically looks like a new machine.
That's a nice pair and as the kids would say... I'm well Jell lol. Thanks for sharing
