To all them there Hotpoint fanatics. I'm creating this thread to provide replica's of the older Hotpoint series AutoWashers/Washer Dryers & Tumble Dryers.

Anyone who fancies a challenge, feel free to attempt recreating/reconstructing the controls of any Hotpoint, from any model range, anywhere from the WDD960 Washer Dryer era, all the way back to the Microtronic series era.

Feel free to cheat, from the template point of view, i.e. using the control panel from a Hotpoint user manual PDF, from the internet to help you along.

I'll post 03 examples to start you off.

Hi Jacob, All you need to get you going is MS Paint, a basic, but perfectly adequate program, & a Hotpoint user manual PDF, from Hotpoint Service.

But Yes, I'll do a WM41 replica.

Remember, if you recide to attempt a go, yourself, remember to save the replica as a .BMP, 24 bitmap format, as this retains the correct pixel colours that you used in the reconstruction. I only recommend the .bmp, because I work on a technique called Pixel Perfect, where I ensure the pixels are the intended colours, to which, if saved as .JPG, this format screws up the pixel colours, as you save it.

I taught myself how to do these replica's, & now have over 300 PDF's of various branded washer user manuals, of various countries, not just the UK, you just need to know where to look.
