Hi all,
I have a late-70s/early-80s vintage Whirlpool Imperial 70 dryer which has been going strong for 40+ years. However, in the last few years, it's gotten so that it often takes 2 runs — upwards of 2-2.5 hours — to dry a load, even on high heat. We're good about keeping the lint filter clean, but aside from that, does anyone have suggestions on what we might be able to do to make it run better? Or is it time to throw in the towel. (Or throw the towel into a newer dryer? ;-)
Many thanks in advance!
