Do not use Tide liquid often, do not like liquids very much, but IMO it does have just the right amount of scent, not too much, not too less...
In any ways it happens that a few items do not smell at all when they come out the dryer or from the line when using line 1 or 2 of the cap....
Pretty disappointing.....
But most liquids use to do so, it is not a Tide thing only, one of the exceptions is italian bolt, that i loathe anyway, not for this, but for the fruity sweet scent of their liquid products that smell like a candy factory, even gain liquid does not leave much smell in the dosage for light soil... That's another reason why I hate liquid over not washing as good as powders.
, I can tell you Bolt powder is the italian version of Gain powder regarding smell, and so is German Dash being the same of what bolt is here, not only the smell and products are similar, they are marketed just like Gain is in the USA, graphic, package style are similar and even websites
www.ilovegain.com is
www.ilovebolt.it. ....but, differently than Gain, the liquid version of Bolt/ german dash have totally different smell than the powder,...anyway, to be honest, I was surprised to discover that gain liquid really recall the smell of the powder, and that is so strange as liquids never does,, so is gain that is "weird" here, but in a very good sense anyway because it's better this way IMO!
Speaking of Tide.
Now, not sure if they have decreased the smell, as I have not used the liquid stuff in awhile... But the last 100 fl oz bottle I used ( about november 2013) seemed somewhat weaker in the scent than the previous 50 fl oz loads of hope I have used in June....the three mini bottles I brought home from visiting family smelled regularly....so I thought it was just me.
Maybe, if it's really so, it may rely in the fact that Michael pointed out in a recent thread. Ie that now seems P&G watered down Tide?
I do not see Tide decreasing the amount of perrfume, me, would be one that if they did I would probably never buy their stuff again, because as I said I found it to be the "right" fair amount, not offensive nor scentles, fair, right, but less would probably result in most of laundry not smelling good anymore so I would leave it...
I like the liquid tide smell...too bad it won't wash well like the powder.
I like the scent of the powder too, and while it is delicate it last on clothes, but about smell I prefer more Gain powder to Tide's one.
Anyway, i still have a pretty large amount of Tide powder to use, after that I will not buy Tide anymore or others P&G products as I don't like how they're doing lately and how they brought things to be.....
There are thousands detergents the same or even better than Tide out there, and not less important, much cheaper....
They can go to hell for what concerns me....
