Kitchen Aid - KDS what model? and repair

I have a few questions
1. What model is this?
2. I ran it and it seemed to smoke a bit from the top edge right underneath the counter and top edge - and smelled like plastic is burning - but the heating coil clear.
3. In the bottom where the water collects - there are black flecks in the water almost like a belt of gasket dried up and disintegrated.
