Laundry Detergent made in Mexico

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Axion is powdered dish detergent. Red plasic bag, lime scent? It sux for washing clothes, but I never tried it for dishes and you certainly cannot use it in the dishwasher! It was a C-P product, but is now probably Henkel, if they continued the brand.

P.S.

The bodega was fairly well stocked with all the usual Mexican detergents, including white Zote, and 2 or 3 different colors of Lirio.

Well my kitchen tablecloth had typical grease stains from salad oil on it. I usually treat the stains with Lestoil before washing with whatever US brand of detergent in hot water. Today I used Mexican Roma, 1/2 cup, hot water, gentle action (Maytag) for 6 minutes wash. Had to rinse twice, thanks to the ususal sudslock. Not a stain to be seen, and a pleasant, clean smell.

I actually LOVE my front-loader.................

Amazing how a little bit of phospahtes goes a long long way towards results.

I have a feeling as F/L-ers become more the norm here, the restrictions agianst their use will be eased.

Sarcastically-
I mean if your can't use any water, you have to add phosphates AND heat AND spin well to get the suds out.

(exit stage left- BEFORE torch wielding mob appears, LOL)
