Was shopping at Fareway the other day and bought two bottles of Wisk 2X, a bottle of Era, and two bottles of Final Touch Fabric Softener. I decided to try some Final Touch because my mother used it close to 25 years ago. The scent smells the same as it did back then. Mom also used Era, which I also bought while at Iowa State in the mid 80s. Since I was an Amway distributor for many years, I rarely used the name or store brands. By the way, I remember using Electrasol's laundry detergent product. It came in a good sized bucket with a round scoop. So now I have a head start on my liquid detergent stockpile, which also includes a bottle of Ajax I purchased at Menards many moons ago. Also, I even bought three bottles of Joy Dishwashing Liquid: the original Lemon Fresh, Mandarin Orange Splash, and some sort of Berry Burst flavor, but forgot what it is. I did see some bottles of Ivory, but did not buy any. I might even test the detergent liquids by hand washing some small items in the kitchen double sink, such as wash cloths, socks, and briefs. After all, if I must endure the boring laundry chore, then I will be creative and have fun with it.--Laundry Shark

I actually remember Sta-Puf softener. Does anybody else remember Whirl dryer sheets? They were half the size of other sheets, and was the only one they actually said on the box can be used for more than one load. Also, anybody else remember Cling Free when it was those blue sponge type sheets?
