It's probably the timer motor going haywire from the plastic gears breaking down inside which these Model 60's were known for. There's 3 new 204663 timers on Ebay at the moment. You can remove the timer motor from the timer and bench test. Dave from davesrepair.com has all of the internal gearing for these so contact him if you want to fix this yourself, which I highly recommend since the 204663 timer motor has been discontinued. Just an FYI, I have had these timer motors brand new in the bag fail right after installation, so beware of that. Old NOS timer motors with weak plastic gearing can fail immediately.
