As some of you may know, I'm the proud owner of a minty fresh A 107 courtesy of Yogitunes. Since last fall, the Maytag has been working beautifully with the exception of a very minor repair to the timer. After each use, it gets wiped down. It's filter and softener cup rinsed and the lid left open for it to air dry.
Since the washer turned 38 years old this month. I was wondering what sort of preventive maintenance I should be undertaking. For example, preventing gunk to form from detergents and fabric softeners. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
