On the POD for the maytag it says that it will prewash, then soak and wash and add fresh detergent. I don't remember Maytags having a detergent dispenser-or did they tell you to put liquid detergent into the fab. soft. disp?
came with two dispenser cups. The white one was for fabric softener, and a light gray one for liquid detergent- to be used in the full wash following the prewash setting.
I'm not sure of the case of the POD machine, though.
