It's the older...

1/2 Cup Forumla of Tide, before they concentrated detergent, yet again...

Imo, I liked the older forumla better, as I felt that it had more Oxygen Bleach in it, and did a better job on white loads.

However, it's next to impossible to find now..

Well...this is a version Pre- concentrated, Pre-actlift so Pre Blue-beads...the classic Tide powder (that IMO was better), not the today's stuff...an old stock..so since he asked where I found mine, and the shop I bought mine is way too far from where he lives for him to get some (North Carolina for istance) here surfing ebay I found this...so I thought he was interested...maybe others also...

Thanks! I hope this won't be a disappointment! You know....it has already happened to me that I found some shops having listed the old product in the pics and descr... but unfortunately in these cases the shops just  didn't update their descriptions regardless the changes during the years...so what you finally get is the new product with a different weight but same loads... in a few cases also happened they just wrote me that they  didn't carry anymore the Tide and forgot to delete  it from the list!

So the 33 oz box will not be actually the 33 but the new 20 oz mantaining though the same numbers of loads...
Typing Tide and the old weight forms that used to come I get lots of results from the internet,  after the disappointng experience I so tried to write to some others shops asking if they were really the old boxes or if it was the description that was of the old sizes...but looks like people that  worked  in these shops barely knew their own name as all the times all the response was a:  "Sorry Sir...we do not know what you mean"...."Sorry Sir we do not know"....and other kinds of responses not answering the specific and easy question I made...so I just gave up trying to..I can't of course order a box of Tide in every shop hoping it is the old one I look for and they have in their description...
I will anyway continue in my research...I still have to write to some and see first of all if they're dumb like the others and then in case it is what I look for, purchase it...but it's hard they still have in stock those old boxes, the 4 loads packets size disappeared just when the change to concentrated began (from what I know)  so I'm pretty sure that if someone is selling 4 loads packets of Tide, they're the old ones....
But is not the same for others...so I have to be careful before purchase....

I know...I also found several VTG  unscented version of intensified and XK Tide months ago on ebay....but I want my laundry to  smell good, ..and so since I  fully agree unscented (free &clear or whatever this kind)  stuff usually stink rather than  being just unscented (thing that I don't like anyway) here I said no,  of course, even though the price  for them was very good...
I could even have added some scent booster in the washing to outstand the lack of perfume and stink of it but I like the original scent of detergents, not any perfume,  booster  or separate product will  smell good like a detergent do....this is my opinion.

Speaking about old detergent just ordered a VTG (probably early 70s)  cylindric box of italian dash...I spoke with the seller and he agreed to sell it to me for 13 euros out of ebay...he said it still smell very good....box looks well conserved as the content

Yes..you're right, they're pretty rare...even more to find them full!

In Italy  buckets were sold till the 80s, then no more...just square boxes..
BTW, many of the  brands sold in the past disappeared unfortunately...
