So for a while I've been annoyed with how big loads take ages to get wet in the bosch and the fact there is a blank part of the seal where the usual cascade fill would be, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and create a front fill running from the inlet!

Where are you taking the water from? I can't tell from the pics. It seems as if you could run into problems with proper dispensing if you alter the flow into the dispenser.

I saw a flow-meter there. Take care this won't get mixed up.
Anyway, you could try to add a recirculation pump if you are really into improving the system. I think you have a spare Zanussi around? Or get any other E-Lux with Jetsystem? You could then wire the pump with a relay connected to the door lock and take the power from the mains. This would run the pump throughout the whole cycle, but I guess that won't matter to the pump. Somebody did that with a WP Duet some time last year. But that of course would only be an option...

Wow Darren, awesome job!

That's a complaint of the LG washer I have, if you put something large and bulky in, it can literally take 10 minutes or more for it to get completely saturated.

Great job!

Great Darren! this jets business with you has a times I think been all consuming, and here you are resolving a problem effectively with the minimum of fuss. is as if bosch left the tube there budding DIY buffs :-)

I remember the Hoover AL-150 I had was awful for getting a full load wet, the middle would still be dry well into the wash, then when I got the Bosch 1400 express, I was so pleased to find that they had gone to the trouble of designing the fill like yours so it got all the clothes wet, it did take time but after the dry hoover this was a blessing to me.

Anyway well done that's one itch scratched :-)

Hi Gary!

Haha yes I am obsessed with a good spray!

I'm rather chuffed as now I can wash full loads without the worry that the front of the load will be tumbling dry for ages!

I hope you are well sir!
