I have an Asko I purchased new here in the US 17 years ago and it's still going strong! Funny, the first time I read an advert for them was in an interior designs magazine and I thought to myself, "Sweden has a reputation for producing good products, I'm gonna have one of those some day." I bought it on that notion alone. I've read many bad reviews of them but I can't complain. I should have nicknamed it "Energizer" because it just keeps going and going...but...it doesn't have any digital crap on it either, all mechanical...and Asko still has parts for it. A couple years ago I had to replace a lock switch, called Asko and they sent it to me. Easy peasy.
