New Miele Tabs

Bought a set of 3 24-count boxes from the Miele online store for $34.95. I have noticed that they no longer contain phosphates, and unlike the (yesteryear) Claro tabs in the blue box, are not scored in the middle for splitting in half. Still, short work with the kitchen shears gets them cut in half. I've used them for a few loads and don't need to add any STPP! $0.24/load (for half-tab dosage) ain't bad, either.

Placement

Do you put these tabs directly in the tub with the laundry or in the dispenser drawer? Do they dissolve quickly or take a little effort.

You put them in the detergent dispenser just like other tabs. I dont know how the non phosphated stuff works but the ones they sold before did a fantastic job. You leave them in the wrapper and put them in like that. It dissolves completely. The Miele rinse aid does well too.

I was curious if the Miele dishwasher tabs were phosphate free. Hoping not, of course. I wonder if they're still made by Claro. They've developed an "ECO" line of products.
