Wow, what a nice washer!!! It seems all regular, i cannot say if it made less suds or not than the old one, since i don't know how much you've used, but from what i can tell seems nothing so different, some people said that was like washing with "fresh water", but this video tells me something different..... i hope to receive my boxes soon and try it in person!

I recently picked up a box of Gain and Tide concentrated powder, its great! No problems with it at all, washes well. I washed all of my clothes in Gain last week, and this week I washed them all in Tide. I can smell the original scent of Tide. Love it.

We get Mountain Spring scented Tide up here, but in liquid only, turns out, I was talking to the manager of a grocery store, he said powders are on their way out, at least they aren't going to be carrying as much selection of powder compared to liquid. The laundry soap section of the store is 90% liquid, the only powders they carry are Tide!

Powders are on the decline everywhere in North America.

 

You know, I wonder if the shape of the boxes powders come in is not a deterrent. Compared to the old, tall, narrow boxes, they take up a lot of shelf space and can't be carried easily to a laundromat once opened. A bottle can be sealed up after every use.

Yeah, horrible detergent, but I keep a bottle on hand for the occasional throw-back...even though it doesn't dissolve in cold water and doesn't clean very well.  Gets comments, for sure.
