The front of the Malleys reminds me of the Bendix Economat

Unless something is missing on the diagrams, the parts listing at Sears Parts online for the '61 LK doesn't show anything unusual on the water level or control systems. It is a mystery!

Does anyone remember (or have) the Lady Kenmore ad from the late Sixties that featured Rosemary Clooney and one of her sons toweling off in front of the Clooney/Ferrer matched washer and dryer? (Would that little cousin Georgie had been visiting that particular day).

1/18 Above

The 1/18 pair above was the ultimate of them all. I only saw them in one local dealership before the end. I believe only a few of these models were sold. I cannot remember the price but they were expensive for the time. It kind of makes me sad to look at them now because I remember when I did see them I had a positive outlook as what was to come about (little did I know).
