More information. The machine has a washplate known as the Invizible Agitator even though it's not an agitator. It gently swirls the clothes through the water in an action dubbed the "Gentlewash Cleaning Action." It also has an option to spray wash the clothes with a mixture of detergent and water and then spins slowly to help lift set in stains. This is known as the "Catalyst Cleaning Action."
Also I just got home from Sears and managed to get a look at washers. Conventional Top-Loaders are very slowly dwindling. I saw a lot of Front-Loaders including GE and the Kenmore HE2, HE3t, HE4t, and HE5t, the LG TROMM SteamWasher, and even Bosch! But I also saw a whole wall of Kenmore Oasis washers and dryers. They had them in plain white and Diamond Black but the one that really caught my eye was a Pacific Blue set with the Laundry Plus+ Storage tower at the foot of the wall. The set was a darkish blue with a gray control panel and lid/door with glass on each of them. Above them was information about how the Oasis clean better than the competion. There were also step-down models including the one with a fully solid lid and the non-HE Kenmore Oasis. The final irony: The wall next to that one sold Whirlpool Cabrios!
