Let's have some pics of our furry friends as well. This is Vixen, at age 11 she is my oldest dog. She is a Pekingese. Normally Pekes have long silky hair. Mine get clipped for summer.

And this is Gypsy, daughter of Vixen, also age 9. Sadly, she lost both of her eyes to glaucoma. But don't feel too bad for her, she sees just fine with her nose, and her tail works great. She's cuddled up to Benny.

Another Jack

his full name is Sir Jack of Ventura
4 years old today...
Here he is at about 8 weeks old

family shot

here we are with his new squeaky monkey from Grandma...
Happy Birthday Jack!
I never knew I could love someone as much as I love you!

What beautiful animals.....

Jason, Vixen, Buddy and Gypsy are so adorable.....

Greg, Jack is quite a handsome dog...I love that fact that he looks like he has freckles on his paws.

Lawrence, Charolette!!!!...what can I say after being around my brother in laws Black Lab Mike for almost 14 years I really love Labs. Charolette is gorgeous and I don't doubt that she is still every inch a big baby even at the age of 4 and I'll wager she will be a big baby till the day she dies just like Mike was. What a beautiful specimen of her breed she is.

Jeff I love that picture of Sir Jack (I think his name is cool too...it fits him to a tee) when he was a puppy. He looks like a little cotton ball. That picture of him with his head in the bag getting out his new toy cracks me up. It is easy to see from what you wrote and how good he looks in the pictures that Sir Jack is one dog who will never be neglected or mistreated or go unloved. I do have a couple of questions though. What breed is Sir Jack? If his is mixed is there any Lab in him because it looks like there might be. Anyway he is quite a handsome animal too.

THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR PET PICS GUYS IT SURE AHS MADE ME FELL BETTER THIS MORNING!!!!! IT MAKES MY HEART FEEL GOOD TO SEE THAT ALL THESE ANIMALS ARE LOVED AND WELL TAKEN CARE ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY RETURN THE LOVE GIVEN TO THEM 10 TIMES OVER YOU CAN JUST FEEL THE LOVE!!!

OOPS!!!!!! Sorry for the double post....

Now they get along (most of the time, anyway)

Hasn't Bruno grown?

It has been fun having Bruno, although I don't know that I would want to "do" the kitten thing again. That time around 4-5 months was tough! He is now growing up to be a little gentleman.

Both cats love this ratty old sofa on our lanai

I think I have posted this before

This is Joseph and Solomon. Joseph is 8 1/2 years old. Solomon is just over a year. This picture was taken about 1 hour after Solomon came to live with us. Joseph and Solomon get along very well. Solomon every night washes Joseph's face, when he is done with one side he takes his paw and bats Joseph, Joseph then turns so Solomon can do the other side. Inside and out side of the ears as well.

Here's our housecat, Slick...one of 6 kittens our other cat had in March 2004, around the time I joined the club! This picture was taken about a year ago; I have to say she's one of our bravest cats as she's pretty much not afraid of anything...she seems quite interested in the little TechnoSonic washer!

A more recent picture of Slick resting in a chair in the sunroom...no, your eyes are not fooling you, she is taking up the entire chair! Definitely the biggest female cat I've seen!

Finally, here is our dog, Murphy. He's a tri-color Sheltie (purebred) that just turned 1 year old. The picture shows him outside, but he is usually inside most of the time, even at night. We have had Shelties before (the last one was about 10 years ago) and they are the best dogs...after two other mistakes (a Border collie and Lab mix) we will never have any other dog again!
