Though it is phallic, it makes me wonder if these parents have anything serious to worry about in their lives. I am tempted to go get one of these play sets myself. I saw a post on-line that it's only 2 1/2" long or so. It's not a very good representation of the organ they claim it to be!

Oh please.  What about those readi-whip squirter things.  They look almost the same, well a bit thinner, but you push on it and it sprays whip cream all over the place.  No kid got upset from that; It was fun to see and use.  No kid is going to learn  or think anything perverted from the play doh nozzle either.  The problem resides in these parents - they seem preoccupied with it.

They interviewed some parents that were horrified that something like this could happen, another woman said she's going to let her daughter play with it and hopefully she'll lose interest in it by the time she's old enough to realize what it looks like.

IMHO, you really have to use your imagination to realize what it looks like.

She sounds like many parents who literally hover over their children and watch them like a hawk, and stifle any thing the child might do that would let them learn from their mistakes or is in any way creative.  I know of one such woman who keeps asking her kids if they're ok, feeling well, ad nauseam.  Let the poor kid make a few mistakes in life, and let them learn from them for heaven's sake!
