Hi,first post here.
I have a hoover ecowave 5 washing machine, model is a1110
Recently its been stopping on the cycle, it does warm up, ive felt the glass door and i can hear it heating, however its sticking and im having to turn it to the next part, a couple of times through the cycle i have to do this until it gets to rinse and spin. I always do program 4 which is 40,but sometimes im noticing the door feels much hotter than 40,more like 60 or more, even when on a 40 cycle. Basically its not working as it was.
I had a repair man out to inspect it, he checked the thermostat etc etc with a multi meter, they were all fine, he said the problem will be with the timer and something internal in there, slipping cog or something her said.
My question is:can i still get hold of a timer for this model of machine ?, which in now 20 years old i believe ?
the hoover softwave is a similar machine, will this part off ebay be suitable for my machine as a replacement timer, see link below
