Hi,first post here.

I have a hoover ecowave 5 washing machine, model is a1110

Recently its been stopping on the cycle, it does warm up, ive felt the glass door and i can hear it heating, however its sticking and im having to turn it to the next part, a couple of times through the cycle i have to do this until it gets to rinse and spin. I always do program 4 which is 40,but sometimes im noticing the door feels much hotter than 40,more like 60 or more, even when on a 40 cycle. Basically its not working as it was.

I had a repair man out to inspect it, he checked the thermostat etc etc with a multi meter, they were all fine, he said the problem will be with the timer and something internal in there, slipping cog or something her said.

My question is:can i still get hold of a timer for this model of machine ?, which in now 20 years old i believe ?

the hoover softwave is a similar machine, will this part off ebay be suitable for my machine as a replacement timer, see link below

Numbers

Hello
You will need to know what model of machine yours is first, it will be on a small plate at the back of the machine near the bottom.

Also if you can disconnect it from the mains, take off the lid and look at the timer it will have a set of numbers on it those will tell you exactly what timer you are looking for

Thanks for the reply, ive decided to scrap it after all that, couldnt find parts anywhere for it,not the timer anyway
