I thought I'd show off our new Presto Pop-lite popcorn popper (hot air).

Popcorn and butter is loaded and ready to start.

Before popping

The seeds are spit up from center and fall back down in the outer side of popping chamber.

I know, right?

We have used it a good bit now, and it makes really healthy popcorn, because it uses hot air, not oil to cook. It also pops almost all the corn in about 3 minutes, enough time for a commercial break. So far , I love it. There's only 2 disadvantages: 1: no switch, 2: if u put butter in the measuring cup, it pops so fast that it doesn't have enough time to melt. Other than that, it is pretty good.

mmmmmm....

now i want some popcorn!!!

i remember when i was little, to have popcorn was like a "treat". nowadays, it seems like such an everyday thing, with all the microwavable popcorn brands that there are!

i remember when i was very little, my mom would make me the stovetop, aluminum jiffypop popcorn. i used to get so excited over the little aluminum pan as it expanded into the mushroom shape, cuz of the kernels popping under that aluminum foil cover!!!
