Here the story,..all started when I was asked to try finding a way to save on detetgents at our company ( we have a washer where workers washes their uniform), the person who does laundry for everyone (one of the workers) has really a thing for Dixan (italian persil), I start with saying he has a sort of OCD and really is not easy to have to do with him, as he really has many maniacal behaviours and ideas we do our best to live with and enduring, he is good at his job so we do not see reasons to take measures or firing him, we understand and we try to support his condition better than we can, I believe one of his manias is using only Dixan....
Dixan cost a lot of money, we are trying to cut costs as he runs about 3 loads a day, often does double washes because machine is a front loader and of a crappy kind (sangiorgio brandt he expressely choosed from the catalogue online when we were changing the old rusted candy) he never gets laundry clean, so he use alot of detergent trying to get laundry cleaner but of course never achieving the results he hopes and think he will get doing so, it result in wasting a lot of product.....
I tried to ask him to try to change detergent, powder and or another brand and or machine as orders for Dixan were really starting to be around 100 euros a month, but he badly assaulted me as proposing a thing out of discussion without giving a logical explanation for it...
I was really curious about the why he only wants Dixan as a detergent so I thought about trying to refill bottles with another product and see if he would notice it..
So, I started surfing ebay trying to look for a liquid detergent, blue colored like Dixan (in italy clear transparent blue detergent like dixan are really hard to find), I so found a listing for 5x5 liters Rein blue detergent for 19,99....
Price was interesting so I have ordered it....
Well, I saved some bottles of Dixan from the trash can.... I have received the product, and surprisingly not only had the same color as Dixan but scent was also really similar....
He used it last friday and didn't notice anything....And I will probably continue doing so, even though when I'll tell him the truth he will get mad....
I have took a tank to try for myself and it actually performed on par with Dixan.... even though I am not a big fan of liquids...
The price is really interesting for the quality it is....
So, since I was curious to try the powder too myself and the dishwasher powder I have organized a colle tion of money among family and neighbors to get some powders to divide among us (listings were for 30 kg for 19,99 and 20 kg dishwasher powder for 17).... Shipping is 20 € from 10 kg to 30kg, for40 kg to 60kg is 40€ for all the europe including UK and free for germany. Still making them cheaper than the average costs detergents have, at least in this country..
I will review the powders as soon as i get them, but assuming they are the same quality of the liquid this is a deal I feel the need to suggest you as really you're gonna get quality stuff for nothing, they probably comes directly from the factory who makes them...
If you can they're worth a try,,,,
