Hey Pete

Good to hear your trip to Paris went well, and that you and the Frididaires made it home safely. Haven't been to Paris, TN for several years. The old factory building and its contents look interesting, and I'll have to try to stop there whenever I'm down that way again. The GE 40" range in coppertone is interesting as it's one of the more unusual models with the surface units placed at each end, rather than the left side of the cooktop as on most. Is the left side an oven or storage area? Also, what are the colorful items on the shelf at top of wall? Maybe Fiesta?

i'm not sure what those colorful

items were, i didn't realy notice them when i was there.

i had my mind on one thing only! getting that rollermatic set home in one peice without dropping them off the truck like i did on an earlier trip.

i do know the guy who owns the place wants to sell that stove badly! he wanted me to buy it but i have no interest in it.

my next post that i do from my trip back to buffalo will have some beautiful shots of some gorgeous stoves that i absolutely love! they are hotpoints from the 50's i believe and they'll take your breath away!

hope to get the post on next week.

but if someone does have an interest in anything from this man's store i have his phone no.

thanks mike and matt and norfolk for the encouragement!

a cinti or ohio wash in sounds fun!

maybe i'll have all these dishwashers and rollermatics up and running by then!

as for that stove and whether that door on the left was stsorage, i honestly don't remember. but looking at the control panel i see 2 dials and i'm wondering if they are both oven control dials? that would mean a left side small oven. sorry i can't remember, like said my mind was on those frigidaires and the long trip home that day in that rented truck!

Wow - more great finds!

Wow, Pete, you sure dig up some neat stuff on your road trips! The Frigidaires look great and I will bet you anything that rust in the washer tub will scrub right out.
The store photos are enticing - just the sort of place I could spend the day and a paycheck in!! LOL
Enjoy the new "furniture"!!

Nice machines, thanks for showing the U-Name It store, Its only about 50 mi from my house. I used to go antiquing there a lot.

Storage

If the small oven were on the left the burners would be clustered together and there would be two black knobs on either side of the clock for oven set and temperature.
