Hey guys, I'm hoping some of you can get your mojo going and help me out on this one. When I was a kid in the 80's, one of my aunts would buy a salad dressing that I absolutely loved, and I haven't found anything like it since.
The dressing came in a glass bottle, the shape of most salad dressing bottles, but larger, and made of ribbed glass. I think the label was green, but I may be wrong on that one, she purchased it at the local Save-a-Lot store, the only grocery store she ever went to back then.
The dressing itself was very rich and tangy, not watery but not overly thick like many modern dressings, and it had tons of dill. It did not taste like ranch dressing of any brand I have tried, and it did not say ranch anywhere on the bottle, it just said Buttermilk Dressing.
I would love to taste this dressing again, please help me out guys....
