Hi everyone, I have been reading on this board for awhile now and finally decided to join. I like all of you love laundry and most especially laundry detergents. I have my obsession with Mexican Ariel with Downy and I also love Persil and Tide.

From all of the posts here and on Garden Web, I have seen a lot of you love the Ultra Plus. I bought my first box at Sears last week and while I have grown accustomed to the light scent, the cleaning was also really good, but next to my Mexican Ariel, it wasn't spectacular. I swore I wasn't going to buy any more, but I lied to myself.

I was at a local Sears appliance store yesterday and found the New Generation detergent in a bucket. I can't find this on the web at all, so this must be something new.

Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you had seen this in the bucket as well?

If that stuff is truly a low sudsing HE formula, I may have to switch to it since Tide HE powder is now "for both" types of machines and will likely generate too much suds in my front loader just like Gain "for both" does.

What I'd like to know is what the difference is between this one and the Ultra Plus in the box, or is it just that its in a bucket like it was years ago.
Ralph, I have found all of the Sears detergents to be low sudsing. There are a number of members here that like the Sears detergent. I will also say its a pretty good and spiked with STPP its really good..Cheryl
