Well, I finally got the last of the rotted tub pics on my computer. Here is the old one failed from 2007. Short life.

that is pretty bad-GE filter flos could be spotty on the enamel job too,some perfect and some that rust out... outer tubs all fine on my three SQ marathons:two 1984s and an '82.One of the '84s had severe galvanic corrosion of the aluminum basket hub(so bad basket runout was affected and agitator was rubbing)but the other two were ok-possibly just different water PH or something was why that one corroded so bad...
