The 2009 Happy High Holidays Thread

Just want to wish everyone at aw.org a very happy, safe and healthy Gay Pride weekend. While I realize that many cities celebrate gay pride on other weekends during the summer the actual observance of the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots is this weekend. For many of us, including me, this is the most important holiday of the year.

Here in Minneapolis we will be doing the parade, festival and block party and fireworks.

Humpy holidays boyz!

I missed it this year but next year methinks ah needs to get the spouse to see NYC pride.

Been to the site of the stonewall many times. While the acutal site is now some other kind of commercial establishment there is the (current) Stonewall bar that is a few doors over. It will do nicely.

That cake is making me hungry. We are having a Quad Cities Pride Day, but I'm staying home this year, too hot out there for me.

The High Holidays, huh?

I like that. Definitely the gay equivalent of Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippor. Also wanted to give a nod to good old Judy, whose death (some claim) was the extra octane that those queens needed to fight back.
