No, I have not yet found it.
Well, that is, I had found it, thanks to an alert from John oldskool, but it was in St. Louis, it would have been a transportation problem at the best of times, and Winters this icy are not the best of times.
However, John's heads-up means that I have a photo of exactly the model I'd love to find. As you can see, it's a '70s model with the "Double-'L'" black door handles. I'm posting the photo in hopes that someday, someone will see one that is feasible for price, transport, etc.
It also has the trim kit on the doors; I think this meant you could put in your choice of panels to make it match your kitchen if you were into that sort of thing, which I'm not, but the chrome edge to the doors was really handsome.
Anyway, here she is - THE Amana.
And oh, yeah - she's White, which is a must.
