The Weather Is Warmer!

I have hung clothes a few times, forgot all about taking pictures. What's preventing me from hanging-out right now is the wind. The Dern-ole Kansas wind. I tried hanging out sheets a weekend ago, and found them wound around, and around and around the line. Today for example the wind is 18 steady gusting to 40 MPH.
Also allergies are terribe, pollen count is very high.

I put out a load of sheets on the line back in the beginning of April I think, when we had a nice warm day. That was it, the trees here in NJ are putting out green tree pollen and you can't put anything out as it will get covered in it. I won't be until the tree pollen is done when things can be hung out to dry.

It was a beautiful day here in Illinois, 70 degrees, opened windows, front door, and back door, to let some fresh air in, and worked out in the yard most of the day.  Our year was severely neglected by the previous owners, don't know if it will ever look half way decent.  If Curb Appeal is still on TLC, may they can do something with it, LOL.

I've never ceased hanging clothes out regardless of how cold it is, as long as it isnt snowing or raining I'll use the line.

Over the past few weeks its been difficult due to the almost daily rain. I'll post a pic this week when I do the wash next.

I've been using my drying rack....

...I have a big drying rack from Ikea that has 47 yards of space, along with a tripod dryer for hanger stuff. So far, it's been raining, close to raining, or downpouring when I've been doing laundry. So my indoor dryers are getting a workout.

I can hardly wait to get some decent weather so I can hang that stuff outdoors.

Here in the UK we have had the warmest, driest April since records began - I have been line drying for weeks! Long may it continue.

warmer, but wetter!

Mother nature has not been kind enough to give me a sunny day that coincides with a day off from work, yet. But I'm hopeful, yesterday was beautiful, from what I could see through the windows.

Westingman:

I'm here in Springfield, so I know exactly what you're saying. Our weather has been fluctuating as well, so it's difficult to know when it'll be nice for a few days or when we'll get another round of rain.

We had rain earlier this morning, but now the sky is clear although it is a tad breezy. It's a good day to take the car to the vacuum area at the self-serve car wash and clean it out (Lord knows it needs it).
