Just made local news this evening, New York State Senate Majority Leader, Joe Bruno will NOT be seeking re-election after his current term ends.

Re: Senators

Well, I guess by now everyone has heard that the senator from my state (NC), Jesse Helms has passed. His memorial service is to be held this afternoon. I would pay anyone (or me if I had enough balls) to dress up in drag and attend the service LOL. I have not heard from any group (hrc, etc.) on his passing. Just how wonderful he was according to the news media. But like my late mother would have said, "Don't speak bad about the dead". I hope he is at peace now and will leave us the Hell alone.
