The last 2 or 3 boxes of Tide Powder I have opened have peformed VERY poorly. Very dull and dingy work..When rewashed in other products Tide liquid or Powder Tide W/Bleach all is fine... Has anyone else had this problem I talked ot our P & G rep this am and he said that he has had 2 other complaints also.. I think they mabe trying to make us use liquids. Would like to hear from anyone that has had a problem... Thanks Mac

RE Tide HE

yes I do agree with you. I have noticed the difference.I bought the Tide HE for my Frigidaire front load and from the first wash I saw the difference in the clothes especially colors but not too much on the whites other than looking a little gray. Regular Tide is not that good any more. I now use Surf or Purex and Fab and all the clothes come clean the first time.

problems

Well...we bought ours last autum in November in Jupiter / FL and it works fine, but have to add that we bought the one with bleach!
BUT: we have problems with our skins the first time in our lives - we cannot use it anymore as it evokes itching and redding at places where one sweats a bit more - armpits, waist, etc.
Even extra rinsing cannot avoid the problem...
Guess, it's the scent!

I recently used Tide HE powder and thought it was very good. It cleaned very well: blood stains, grass stains, etc, all came out. My only complaint about it was that it made suds. I usually had a small suds deposit on the inside window protrusion and in the gasket after every wash, even with the extra rinse engaged.

Tide with bleach

I'm using Tide with Bleach-Original scent with a scoop of Oxyclean on white uniforms and labcoats. I think they are whiter now that i've started using these products. I used Gain and Biz before but i'm now sticking with the Tide with bleach/Oxyclean combo from now on. For colors I am using Tide Mountain fresh scented powder. It's a rather large box left by my roommates when they moved so i just started using that when my Gain ran out. I'm a laundry spaz. If everything looks and smells clean when it comes out of the washing machine then it's clean as far as i'm concerned. I am a little more ( okay alot ) picky if the whites get dingy.

I've noticed this with the plain Tide powder as well....what helped was that I decreased the amount. It's still not as good as it was, but at least the dinginess is gone....

This change doesn't seem to have affected the Tide with Bleach powder, which still works really well, or the liquid....only the plain powder.
