HMD model

This model has some minor cosmetic differences when a more powerful motor. Both the HM and HMD models had the slot in the mixer body to accept attaching to the post of the stand mounting bracket

What is wattage of the Australian models 9 12A, 24A

Ok...I can't reach all my mixers which is a pity as I have both 'round' and 'eyebrow' fronted 12A's in 10 and 12 speed..

BUT...

The 9BB that I have is rated at 120w and the MXG I use regularly is rated at 150w...

Quieter Kitchenaid

I found a very old K45 I refinished which is whisper quiet. I use it for bread and back up to the Sunbeam for whipping egg whites etc if the recipe has a two stage mixing process. I could not be more pleased with it's function. I have a 30's Chrome model G Kitchenaid which I can use if I am doing something in larger quantities that would benefit from the geared motor. The Pro series is a steller mixer with the wider bowl. No former Kitchenaid is worthy to wipe it's paddle with regard to even mixing, quicker whipping and no splashing. But the motor!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so loud it makes your ears bleed. Perhaps in a larger kitchen or a commercial space it would be more tolerable. I no longer use mine because of the noise.
