Hi Louie, great adds, these need to be on Pic of The Day or in a seperate link page adverts album, trouble is on these threads they get buried and get very slow to load!!! I wonder if Robert could make a suggestion...

That 1953 Wizard has an agitator that looks a lot like the first Speed Queens and a dryer door handle that looks like a Hotpoint.

I had almost forgotten all about those fantastic Kelvinator refrigerators with the designer fronts. Western Appliance where I worked as a kid had almost every one of those on the sales floor. I distinctly remember that small fridge with the spotted horse fur (it was "real" synthetic fur, not painted on,) the model with the carriage lanterns (there was a Foodarama like that too) and my favorite, the Chinese Red Foodarama with the dragons...it really made a statement! I'm going to use that photo as a desktop backround for both of my computers to remind me of my happy childhood...about 100 years ago :-(
