Hi,
I have found a vintage ritemp wringer washer in our garage - the model with a green enamel inside. I will try to upload some photos later.
It's in a pretty bad way - it's been painted a silvery colour on three sides, and is rusted a bit at the base.
Is this the sort of item that would be of interest to any enthusiasts? I was going to take it to the tip, but chanced upon this page.
Photos to follow.

Than you for taking the trouble to post here about your machine, even if the body is not in good condition it could still be useful for spares - I know of at least one other member who has one of these machines. I am sure there will be some interest, please post photos when you have a moment

It has been in our garage, used as a support for a work table. For a good number of years, maybe a few decades. We have lived here for only 7 years.

The outside of it has got some rusty bits - just small bubbles of it. It would clean up a lot with just a little work - just a good clean would make a world of difference, and the 2 sides which have been painted with silver paint - the paint scratches off very easily.
Inside - the green barrel bit is in excellent condition - no cracks or marks - in the picture, the bit that looks like a crack is a bit of straw hanging down from the rim! The dried crusty washing powder residue in the base is easily removable - in fact you can see where I've drawn my finger through it!

I am keen to get rid of this asap so we can get on with our garden plans.
If anyone is interested in having this, please let me know in the next few days as we will be taking it to the tip next Wednesday if there's no interest.

We don't want any money for it - we'd just rather it got used if it still has a use!

Becky
