Hey Guys,
Just wondered if anyone has had any experience with Washer Dryers as we are thinking of putting the Zanussi onto Ebay and buying a new machine. I was thinking of getting the AEG LAVAMAT TURBO 16830 as its quite feature packed with a 7kilo capacity drum :)

Any opinions welcome!:)

I'd sure get one! I like the AEG washers, plus I love washer-dryers. That's a shame that it has a water condensor!

I'd get htat AEG for sure! It's a nice machine IMHO, plus I love washer-dryers, the only shame is that it has a water condensor.

Water condensor

Ops! Triple post!!! I tought my message wan't even posted once!
It's otrageous that the machine uses less then 50 litres of water to wash and around 80 to dry a load when it could simply vent the moist air out or use an air condensor like most EU dryers do, I feel it's just a waste of resoursces. But said that I love combo machines so I'd still go and buy it without doubts.

I was going to post in the "dream appliance" thread that my ideal dryer would be one that could be set up to exhaust in the summer, and use a condensor with a heat pump in the winter to put the heat back in the house.

Hey richard,
Nice choice with the aeg! Washer/dryers are good when used properly! I have 2 in my garage that work wonderfully! Go for it! Staying with the electrolux group then?

Hey Darren

Yeah I'll be sticking with the Electrolux group! Thought I'd be getting it quite soon because the Zanussi has been dreadfull this past week or so! however it seems to be calming down slightly now so the Washer/dryer will have to go on hold lol :(:(!!,
Thanx for posting

Richard
