Last year: Macy's gift card from Cathy's uncle Bob; bought a 6-quart pressure cooker.

Later, I found a Robinsons-May gift card from 2 Christmases ago, called the toll-free number and found out it's still good for the full value at Macy's; bought a 4- and 8-quart pressure cooker ensemble.

The difference between men and boys, as they say.

Already got the washer and dryer from Santa, so with luck a 5 thread serger that does a cover stitch. And I'm with you Carol, am looking at GPS as well. Thanks to Jason's link to that GPS site, it got me to this at Costco online a Garmin Nuvi 650. Nice big screen and it speaks the street names. The price isn't bad either. See if this link comes through.

I bought some home theater stuff off of E-bay. I have that nice stack of Crown and QSC amps that I bought from Tower records when they went out of business last year, so I coupled them to a Lexicon DC-2 preamp/surround sound DSP I recently purchased off of Ebay. The Crestron screen you see on the coffee table there I got from a job I did at work ,but I didn't have a control processor, so that's an other Christmas purchase to myself. The system is now complete, and man does it sound good watching movies on my projector.

Now, I just gotta get the walls painted and hang the screen back up... it sucks watching pictures on bare plaster walls!

I'm getting myself a tool box for my truck for Christmas. I already have the grill-guard, so I thought I would finish it up. Next year I may even turn completely to my redneck roots and have dual-exhaust (e.g. "Pipes") installed for a bit of noise.

well i've just been in hospital for a third lot of surgery so since i have to spend a lot of time in bed recovering over christmas i have surrounded myself with a few comforts. I rearranged my room around and got a new television since the old one was broken, a few new boxsets of DVD's (such as On the Buses, Keeping Up Appearances and Doctor Who series three). Also an Ipod Nano as my old MP3 went a bit funny and conked out halfway through songs nearly everytime i used it. So yeah i dunno what i'm getting for xmas but will see, for now i'm happy tho - bit bored tho lol
