I (finally!) made it through my giant container of Tide Ultra Pods with Oxi and I am happier about this than I should be. I think the smell is obnoxiously chemical in nature. They work well but I just can't abide the scent of them and I won't be purchasing them again. I'm not at all sorry to see them go.
That being said, what's everyone's favorite laundry detergent in 2024? I'm thinking about going back to liquid Tide but I'm hesitant because I've heard that liquid detergent doesn't quite make it into the washwater since there isn't a constantly running recirculating pump like there is on older machine. For this reason, I bought pods when I purchased my new TL washer, which is kind of a traditional/HE hybrid. Anyway, hit me with your go-to detergents. Powder, liquid, or pods, and what brand do you all prefer? I'm between Tide Ultra Oxi liquid (it smells waaay better in the liquid formation), Tide Clean Breeze liquid, and Gain Original liquid.
Thanks,
Ryne
