Whenever I try to respond to a message, I get this error:

SOFTWARE ERROR

Modification of non-creatable array value attempted, subscript -34 at TD-PROCESS_POST.lib line 236.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([email protected]), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

This doesn't occur on other websites I visit.

Anyone Else?

Yesterday morning I implemented a major Discuss-o-Mat code change to enhance the Imperial and Deluxe forums threads so they will show up in faster in google and other search forums and not to move the posts when they get archived archive. My goal was trying to prevent the suds-lock errors on old post in google and make the Super Search-a-lator even more powerful.

I figured it might be a bit buggy, but everything seemed to be working ok up until now.

Since everything seems to be working fine for me, in order for me to debug this I will need help from all you guys.

If you get an error message, please post in this thread the following things:

#1 Which Forum and What Thread number you were replying to?
#2 Did you get this message after hitting "Preview Message" or after hitting "Post this to the Discuss-o-Mat."?
#3 Did your reply go through anyway or did you just get the error message and nothing else?
#4 Please copy the error message such as Allen did above and paste it in here as well.

The more information you can provide me the faster I can fix this. I'm sure I'll think of other things to ask.

Lets use this thread as a test thread, so if you get a chance just post in this thread saying "test" or "hi" or whatever. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Howdy Robert,

Was posting to the "Music video" thread on this forum and got the same error message as above after hitting "post". Tried to post a second time, and got the "trying to stop a duplicate post" error message, saying I'd posted in the last 30 seconds. Nothing came through that I could tell! Good luck on finding out what it is...and thanks for all the hard work at keeping this place goin'!

Thanks Charbe, I see you posted in that thread at 9:22pm tonight, do you see your post????

it says

"The Incomparable Boswell Sisters from 1932"

Here's New Orleans' own Connie, Martha and Vet, The Boswell Sisters, doing their "good luck tune"...filmed for the movie "The Big Broadcast" in 1932. I love these girls!

"Yowzah!"

Right after I posted to this thread about getting the error message, I went back and tried it one more time, and it went through that time. That's definitely the text of the last try I made at it.

I just got the above error message when I tried to post a test message. (It's 10:41 p.m. eastern time according to my computer.) I was able to preview my post. I got the error message when I clicked on post this to Discuss-o-Matt

Thanks for your help Mike, please include the forum and thread number you were trying to post to otherwise I cannot research it.

That's odd. I tried to post my smart-aleck test message (directly above) and received the error message. When I used my back arrow to scroll through some pages, I pressed the 'Post This To Discuss-o-Mat' and it posted this time.

This is a test.!!!! Interestingly I was working on my systems too. I added a server, managed switch, changed power cords and set up my drive array system. Now I just need to get UPS batterys for UPS's for the servers.

Ding Ding

I think I figured out when it happens, but I'm too tired to fix it tonight so I will work on it tomorrow.

It seems you get that error message if you try and post and the system asks you to log in first. To prevent getting that message until I fix it, PLEASE BE SURE TO BE LOGGED FROM THE MAIN DISCUSS-O-MAT HOME PAGE BEFORE YOU START TO TYPE YOUR POST. In other words be sure to be logged in before you hit "Preview Message", otherwise you will get that error when you hit the POST button.

Thanks everyone, let me know if you find other odd errors.

Robert,
Everything seems to work for me. Maybe updating the routing tables on my end fixed the NAT issues that I was having.
