Hello,
Got the washer and dryer in place and we are finishing up the cabinets. We bumped the washers timers a few times and now it will only turn when you turn the skirt not the knob. We haven't plugged them in yet since the install only sized them for the purposes of fitting them. I imagine the timer will still work on the washer but of course it bothers me that I can't turn it from the knob. Is getting a new timer out of the question, can I fix the old timer? How can I open the machine up to examine if something came loose? I'd like to at least lube the motor and moving components before we finish up the install.
We totally love these little green guys and would like to find a full size vintage pair (not for regular use, we just love vintage stuff). Just for comparison what does a full size version of these look like?
We purchased a foam circle and we intend to cut it to keep the washers tub from banging around when we drive.
Thank you all!
