Leaking KDS-58
Hi Louis the lower front panel removes with a couple of #2 Phillips head screws under the lower edge of it, take off the panel and run a R-N-H and see where its leaking.
A leaking main seal is certainly a possibility, you might have also gotten a foreign object caught in the drain impeller making the high pitched noise.
On KAs like this you disassemble the pumps and fix, there is no replacing a drain pump, unless you replace the entire main motor and pumps.
