Help Support :

ok, couldn't get the hose off of the tube that comes out of the tub for the water level switch, so no motor/tranny test. What size are those bolts near the center shaft? Will the inner tub come out after I remove them?

a 13mm 12 point socket works on those tub bolts........

the boot and tub area should be cleaned first, and then use a little sealant on the boot, slide back over and clamp in place......sometimes the little metal clip around the bolt/nut of the clamp comes off....just make sure its back in place as not to pinch the boot......

easy as pie

So I doused those crusty bolts with a combo of LimeAway and LemiShine. Let soak then couldn't find a 12-point socket when I needed one, so improvised with a 1/2 closed end wrench? AnywAy, I needed a hammer to coax the bolts off. And, viol'a, inner tub is out and what did I find?

your on a roll so far......is that little extra piece there for the clamp....you don't want to assemble without it.......

the restrictor I am talking about is in the fill valve.....allows for a faster fill....

..I'll look inside the cabinet and will let you know. What are all these tubes in and around the upper left side of the tub? I know one is the inlet hose, but what is the other white one? it is attached to a hose that goes right to a whole in the base of the unit?

that gray/white one is an automatic overflo.....should the washer overfill, say like a stuck valve, this unit will create an automatic vacuum/suction/siphon and pour the water on the floor rather than overflo onto any of the electrical parts...its a unique gadget, and does work...been there.....

no water should not be comming out from that pinch area......it may have a crack, and have to be replaced......this unit is only there to shut off the filter flo for when the spotscrubber option is selected.....if it is leaking, for now, you can remove it, and either replace the whole hose, or insert a piece of plastic pipe with clamps......

it won't affect normal performance if this unit is not there......all functions, including the mini basket option will work.......spotscrubber is based on the filter flo pouring water into the minibasket for a set amount of time, and then shut off the flo, allowing the concentration of water and detergent to scrub out stains.....during rinse, the flo resumes its normal operation

Looks like the large boot clamp retaining nut is rusted solid and will need to be replaced after all. Let me know how much you need to send that one to me yogitunes.
Ok, I give up. What size are those bolts holding the hose pinch solenoid and the inlet valves onto the frame? I've been at this thing literally all day and exhausted but happy all is not lost and I'm happy with the progress I've made with all of everyone's help.
