hi all. When I was growing up, my parents bought a belt drive Maytag dishwasher at my urging (mind you, it didnt hurt that I took the top rack of the hotpoint that he was trying to sell to my parents and I showed them how poorly made the machine was, and embarrased the heck outta the salesman at the same time. Anyhow...when it was installed, I got to do the dishes from that point on...my mother was always givin me the gears on how I loaded the machine, would always manage to get EVERY dish used as well as pots and other things for the meal (six of us in the family at that time)
When I hooked up with Powerfin64 and found out he had a Maytag...history was gonna repeat itself..on a daily basis.
I spent the day yesterday making Dutch apple Crisp and Banana Break, trashed the kitchen, and decided to load the machine with the FULL load of stuff I had in the sink...and impressed the heck outt Rich when he saw it...(hmmn..he even shook his head.....trauma!)
It all came clean...Maytag 2000 Jetclean EQ Plus, on a 2 hour auto clean with tough scrub option selected (it did go down to 1:30 after the first wash thru, even with the heavy mess I put into it, dried apple and sugar baked on, mac and cheese, and mixing bowls I left out to dry for the day in the sink (heheheh, oops)
as ya can see...spotless
(the mark on the plastic steamer insert is always there, same as for the plastic storage container (microwave trauma to the ziplock) not a leftover residue)
