A new old microwave that is. Found this tiny little Sharp Junior at the Restore. It's 500 watts and not big enough to any normal sized dinner plate. Cute I thought so I brought it home

I just love it! Perfect for what I use the microwave for (warming up, sometimes veggies). I don't ever remember these being sold, do you?

In the first photo it looks like a small point of use electric water heater!

What is the external size?

Outside it's 11 Wide x 10.5 deep x 12 high (inches)
Inside it's 8 wide x 9 deep by 6 high

I think Sharp still makes their Half-Pint mw which is very similar, controls on top.

I've been looking and looking for a small mw but with a simple mechanical dial timer and as common as those used to be I can't seem to find one anywhere. I want it for my mom. She as early Altzheimers and sometimes gets confused with all the buttons on her Panasonic. Even this one was a bit confusing for her and since it won't even hold a med sized dinner plate it's sort of useless. I think these were aimed at the college dorm market, boats etc..
