Someone said something about starting a pet thread, but didn't do it. I thought I would go ahead and do one.

This is Riley, my Jack Russell. She was about a year old when a friend of mine gave her to me. She had already had about 4 frustrated owners before that. She's about 6 now, and is the best present anyone ever gave me. She's a really great, friendly, and loving dog. Very smart, stubborn, and crafty, not very obedient. Big chewer, but only with stuff I give her. It's been ages since she tore something up that I was mad about.

Here's my baby!

Here is Tank, 13 YO Peke. Good dog, love him to pieces!

I had rudely woke him up for a picture-he was not happy!

This my pug, Percy! I love him to bits, he's 9 years old, I raised him from 4 weeks old. He's the kind of dog who must sleep on top of you, he just loves the warmth!
His loves include:
-Me of course
-My family
-The heating vent
-Sunbeams
-Bedtime
-Any human food

His enemies include:
-The vacuum
-Squirrels
-Tilex
-Suitcases
-The Vet, of course
-Anyone who is masculine and does not live with us

Aw how cute!

Oh Dave:
Riley in that dryer pose looks just like my cat when she was dumping in her cat-box!

Jon:
Artey seems almost human to me!

Jamie, Heather:
CUTE!

and tank and percy and artie and tobby and negrita! They are all adorable!

i will add future pics of my cats and dogs and snake (can't forget one's snake) to this post since it has already been started!

they are all just simply adorable! absolutely mad for dogs! love cats too but dogs are so special. no wonder dog is god spelled backwards!

Yay! I get to brag about my kids!

Here's my very adorable beagle - Parker. I love him to bits! He's very well behaved - always tells me when he needs to go out and never chews/barks/howls/whines. The worst thing he does is gets on the bed if I'm not paying attention, or on the couch smooshing the down throw pillows. Overall, a very good boy.

The tin foil you see in the background is to keep his feline sibling - better known as "Pure Evil" from chewing on the speaker wires.

Pure Evil

aka Zephyr (yes, I know Zephyr was a male diety - I didn't name her). How she appears to mortals:

i love pure evil

she looks like a little angel to me! and speaker wires were invented to be chewed on, weren't they? that's why they taste so good!

Our two Soft Coated Wheaten (Bernard and Gladys) are our children...so they sulk, whine and generally don't always do as they are told....like now (they're barking at a bird in the front yard)

This pic, which I posted elsewhere is taken at Christmas at the coast...and no, their beards don't normally look so 'wet'

Plenty of great fuzzy buddies! Artey is great. I've always thought that bull terriers were so ugly they're cute. I've seen brindle ones and white ones, but never one quite like that before. Chewing forearms isn't a good habit, though.

Zephyr is a cute kitty. My auntie has one that looks like that, but a big (neutered) tom. I love it when they have a lower jaw that's different from the upper.

Tank looks good and healthy for 13. I would love to have Riley live at least that long. Big dogs don't live as long, and it's always heartbreaking. I'm hoping that Riley's size will translate to a long life.

Percy the pug...I've never known a pug that wasn't nice. They also snore to one degree or another, and Percy looks like he'd snore like Artie Lange.

Parker looks like a pretty chill dog. That's always nice.

Bernard and Gladys don't even sound like dog names. They look like Muppets. Their coats look wet in that pic, but those always look so soft when they've been brushed.

this is SPOOKY

all black without a trace of anything else and born around halloween. loves to hang out in the yard (here he is lounging on a wood pile) and a great "mouser"! always catchin critters.

he loves the dogs , especially Funkie, but Duke gets on his nerves.

Soft Coated Wheatens...

...are just lovely dogs. Always happy to see you even if it is only 5min you've been gone taking the garbage out.

Here is a pic of Bernard at about 10 weeks...

You try and tell me he doesn't 'know' how photogenic he is in this pic...
