The '61 was my first lesson in "you need to be picky about what machines you undertake," which is a policy I'm pleased(?) to say I've never truly taken to heart, and my most recent project underscores that

Well, two most recent projects...one of them comes home today. Oy.
Yours is very pretty. I was able to restore all the console paint but not the plastic insert, which had yellowed and hazed in the sun. And yes, as Ben pointed out, it was Christine.
This '61 would be a LOVELY addition to your washer. I liked my washer--it washed very well and was pretty--but I simply could not iron the bugs out of it. Plus, it was my first real restoration, and I was young, naïve, and unschooled in the ways of gasket sealant silicone.
