I am sorry you and Rob were not there to enjoy all the food and polite conversation between members.
Bobs painting and restoration skills are magnificent I have posted a Fot of him trying out a 1974 Boots Hair Dryer and very fetching it is too :-)

WASHER WIDOW
Well what can I say Ray you provided us with such an excellent English breakfast :-) and it has to be said that you did also offer the "Healthy" alternatives.......not sure if they got eaten though

COW PIE
Nice traditional English warming food, the Suet pastry was a real delite (Thanks Mike)it was an absolute pleasure to see you slaving away over the work top making it

JONS HOOVER FETISH
OH yes he is indeed a Hoover guy through and through......he is Hoovers "number one fan" :-)

So again thanks again to Jon & Ray for doing it all so well and Jon adding that "Classy" touch ;-)

It's so nice seeing all the pictures, remembering what happened, had such a great time, haven't laught so much for ages. It was so nice to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Jon and Ray were such amazing host's and the food was soooo nice, I've put on a couple of pounds, I could have stayed there for a week. I'd also like to say a big thank you to Bob and Neal for the Eastham Burco dryer they gave me. I've sneaked it into the house and my partner still hasn't notice, and to Gary for my Kenwood Mini mixer. Really enjoyed playing with the hoovermatic and Jon has now got me hooked on Hoover Logics. Cant wait for the next meet. Thanks again guys.

A big thanks to all those of you who came to our humble abode and the weekend wash in.
I know I had a great time so it’s nice to know that you all did too.

A very big thanks for all the pics posted.

Its great to see that our friends across the world like to see what’s going on this side of the pond, if ever you feel you could make it over here, you would be warmly welcomed.
Chestermike and I hope to hold more events like this in 2010. Drop me a line if you would like to be kept informed of our plans.

Will be posting pictures shortly of more of my collection so keep your eye on the treads

Hi Mike,

Interesting new Hoover Vision Dishwasher there.

Thats a a shocker! Hoover getting parts from the Bosch parts bin!, I recognise that dispenser! looking forward to seeing that in the field.

Hoover Vision

Hello Bertrum

If that is the case that Hoover are using Bosch parts or machines then that will help improve their some what tarnished reputation for reliability, which they acquired after Candy took them over, then that is no bad thing

Wash in Brum

What a great set of photos - everyone looks like they had a good time. John's collection of washers and dryers looks fab all stacked up.

I'm a fan of Hotpoint as it's the brand I grew up with. I don't know much about Hoover washers and dryers, but the more I see of them the more appreciation I have for them, especially the Logics.

One of these days I hope to see some of these collections.

Rob
